Hello my lovely visitors and welcome to my creative space.
A very warm welcome too to my new followers! Thank you so much joining me on this creative journey! Hoping you will enjoy the ride!
A quick post to share another of my Christmas cards.
No Masterboard this time .. just some papers and a bit of die cutting.
No Masterboard this time .. just some papers and a bit of die cutting.
The tartan paper is from a 6" x 6" Christmas paper pad I bought a little while ago by Craft Smith. I used a Tim Holtz Thinlits die on the paper for the front of the card and, for something a little different, I outlined it with a white gel pen.
Another of my handmade flairs using a computer generated greeting and an epoxy sticker.
Used some of the scrappy bits left over from the die cut on the front of my card to decorate the inside.
Et Voila!!
As I said, just a quick post this time.
Have heaps more Christmas cards to make and will be posting another soon so, I hope you will come back to take another look.
I have entered this into Challenge #25 at Christmas Card Challenges
UPDATE .. My card made the top 3 .. Yayy!!!
Thank you for your visit and do enjoy the rest of your day.
Take care and God Bless.

To me, tartan and Christmas go hand in hand and the card you created is stunning Margaret! Outlining the holly with white is so very special and just enhances the tartan even more... and your embellishment is gorgeous!! Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteHi Marg, I love this card, just love the tartan back ground and gorgeous blooms sprigs and holly leaves! Such pretty cards for Christmas... and I hope your week is off to a great start.. they fly by so quickly!!

ReplyDeleteThis is just fabulous Margaret! I love the plaid background, reminds me of my parents house during the holidays when I was younger. My Mom had plaid patterns all over the house as part of the decorations! The white outlining on the holly branch really makes it pop! Love your floral arrangement too, the roses are beautiful and the metallic sprigs are so festive! Another wonderful holiday creation!
ReplyDeleteStill waiting for snow over here in Canada. This week I was putting up the Christmas tree and setting out the decorations, and the air conditioner was still running! HELLLLLOOOOOO! It's almost as warm now as it was in August for crying out loud! Isn't mother nature a strange lady! Have a great week, hugs :)
A beautiful Christmas card in lovely traditional colours and papers. A beautiful flower arrangement and a lovely effect with the outlining the leaves. A great card Margaret! hugs, Marlies
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous card with the tartan background which always reminds me of my Irish ancestry. Love the outlined holly leaves and the gorgeous cluster. The flair looks lovely and as always, the inside is an added bonus. Lovely work,

ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic!! When I first looked at it I thought, how did you emboss that silver line around the edge of the holly?!? Then when I went back and read it I couldn't believe it was a white gel pen - looks awesome!!! Thanks so much for joining us at Christmas Card Challenges.
