Another Batch of Christmas Cards

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog.  Hope you are all having a wonderful day.

As you could see by my Title, I still have some Christmas cards to share.  Seems all I've done over the last couple of weeks is make Christmas cards and I am not quite done.  One more to make and quite a few yet to share so I hope you're not tired of them yet.

These cards were made for some close friends.

Card #1

Still using those gorgeous Maja papers.

Some gauze and berries in the cluster and I've used some more scrappy bits of paper to make those small scrolls.

The greeting is taken from the small strip at the bottom of one of the 12 x 12 sheets.

The inside showing the verse I have used on all of my Christmas cards this year.

Card #2

As I explained in my last post, when I make multiple cards, I find it easier to make them all pretty much the same.  Same design and embellies, just different papers and different configurations.

An extra paper layer on this card but no paper scrolls.

I've added gold stickers to all of these cards.  Have had them in my stash for many years and thought it was time to finally use them up.

Card #3

Different papers (still from Maja) and I've added some twirly bits (not sure what else to call them) to the cluster.

As you can see, I have added a touch of snow and some splatters to all of these cards.

Added a little stamping to this card as well.

Card #4

Added some gold snowflakes to this one and a little stamping here as well.

This one has a small oval shape underneath the cluster and I have included the scrolls again.

Have used seam binding on all of these cards for the closure and this is how it looks with the bow undone.

Another case of .. the same, yet different!!

Hope you are all organised and ready for Christmas.  I am almost there.  All cards that needed to be posted are gone and I just have two more to hand out this weekend.  Then there is just one more pressy to get which, hopefully, we will pick up tomorrow and, other than the food and drink, which will get picked up next week, we are done!!!!  Woo! Hoo!

Thank you so much for visiting.
Take care, stay safe and God Bless.

  1. What an amazing set of cards Margaret!! I really wish I had grabbed some of that Maja paper this year, you really make the papers shine with festive cheer! I just love your designs, your layering and the amazing little embellishment arrangements. One base design, yet each card is different and unique!! I don't meant to pick favourites, but I sure do love #4, there's something about red plaid that I am drawn to during the holidays!! hugs and happy weekend!

  2. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Your cards are all beautiful Marg, all so special with lovely designs and embellishments.. And beautiful verses in the inside.. I have sent off all my cards, started cooking and just making lists so I don't forget what needs doing! Have a lovely weekend!

  3. Christmas and Maja! The perfect double. I'm such a fan of the traditional colours in muted tones and you've worked your magic again with this group. So beautiful IRL. Thanks for all the inspiration this festive season.

  4. Never get sick of your Christmas cards... they're such mini works of art! Adore the curly bits, the scrolls & those seam binding ties. GREAT ideas here ... which I keep meaning to pinch - then forget!!! Good on you being on top of the organisation.... until I jammed my pinky finger (L hand -& im a lefty) I was traveling VERY well.... sigh...

  5. Just so beautiful Marg - all of them. Those papers make my heart beat a little faster too. They are all just so yummy. I am not sure I would be able to give them away. Merry Christmas.
