Layers and Lace

Hello my lovely visitors, so glad you dropped by.  Hope you are having a fabulous day.  It's really windy here in Adelaide at the moment.  I hate windy days, so have decided to stay inside and do some crafty stuff.  (Not that I need an excuse!  LOL!!)

I'm back to share another card with you.  This was a fairly quick make.  I actually started out with something totally different in mind but, somehow, ended up with this.

The papers are from  the English Rose Garden Mini Pack from Megs Garden.  I simply trimmed the base paper to size and then tore a couple of strips for the layers.

The flower was white with blue edging around the petals.  To match it in with the papers, I just used some watered down acrylic paint to change it to orange.  Wasn't sure at first about the blue edges .. thought I might have to cover them as well .. but decided I quite like how it looks.

Added gauze, twine and some leaf die-cuts to the cluster.

The chippie is a small piece of the Mini Chicken Wire panel from 2Crafty Chipboard.  All I did was heat emboss it.

Tucked a bit of pretty lace (from Megs Garden, of course) in between the paper layers ...

... sprinkled some seed beads in different areas, and my card was done!!  I didn't even add any gesso!!  Must be feeling sick.  LOL!!

That's all from me for now.  Thank you so much for visiting and, perhaps, leaving me some lovin'.  I would love to know what you think.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
Take care and God Bless.
